Hello all! Welcome to the Hudson Valley Knits Podcast. Went on an exciting road trip to Webs‘ Tent Sale and had a great time. I have some special “stash” to share with you all! This is a long one so I am adding some fun pictures to this post rather than having them at the end of the show. (Truth is I forgot to add the pictures and had already exported the movie so you’ll have the music and a blank screen).

Friendly reminder that my Senior Love Along continues on this year. I am collecting cotton wash clothes to hand out to seniors living in homes during the holiday season. Please hold on to your washcloths until then. There is an FO thread where you can post a picture of each of your washcloths. Each one you make is a chance to win a prize! I will be announcing prizes that I will provide very shortly and unashamedly ask for any prize donations. They would be very welcome and much appreciated!

Shash Enhancements:
Sandy and I went to Webs’ Tent Sale!! It was so much fun! Here’s what I got
A Lendrum double treddle complete kit!!!!!! I have been wanting this wheel since I took a spinning class last year at Rhinebeck. We used the Lendrum wheels and they were a dream. I tried other wheels a couple of months ago when I made a stop at Webs and it was by far the best for me.
From Barbara Parry of Made by Foxfire FIber and Designs http://www.foxfirefiber.com/index.html I purchased
5 oz of Shetland bats by Foxfire Fiber and Designs in lavenders and gray/blues to spin on my new wheel!
3 skeins of her hand dyed Cormo Camel Silk blend in 3 colors. Jade Cloud, Marigold, and Poppy. I have a design in mind for them!
I purchased her book Adventures in Yarn Farming to give to my sister Kim (I’m trying to convince her to get some sheep on her farm in upstate NY) I started reading it last night and it is so fascinating!
I also picked up a beautiful spindle at the Foxfire Fiber and Designs tent and purchased an assortment of items including a spindle. The spindle is named “Damsel Monique” and is Spalted Jamarind wedge and Walnut Shaft. Made by Greensleeves Spindles http://www.greensleevesspindles.com
